Hanne Sörvaag made it through to the final in the Norwegian Melody Grand Prix after a great performance in the qualifier in Florö last Saturday! Now we’re looking forward to see Hanne at Oslo Spektrum Feb. 12th.

Hanne Sorvaag confirmed for Norwegian Melody Grand Prix 2011

We’re happy to announce that Hanne Sorvaag is confirmed to perform in the Norwegian Melody Grand Prix 2011. She will be perform in Heat 2 with a song called “You’re Like A Melody”.

Hanne, along with Fredrik Kempe wrote the song “My Heart Is Yours”, sung by Didrik Solli-Tangen, for the Norwegian preselection Melodi Grand Prix 2010 and won. Therefore Didrik will represent Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010. Hanne, along with Harry Sommerdahl and Chistian Leuzzi, also submitted the song “Shine” to the Georgian national final, which passed to the live final on 27 February, with Sopho Nizharadze performing all the songs. “Shine” went on to win the contest, and will represent Georgia at the contest.
